Since I was the one who cleaned up the woman, tended her wounds, washed her bloody clothes, called the Portland cops, and gathered information from people who had seen her unceremoniously thrown out of the car, I have a personal interest. Also, later on I wrote poetry to the woman, bought her a diamond ring, and had kids with her. It turns out that that assault was rather more widely known than I ever knew. It turns out she was bribed not to go ahead and press charges (I tried to get her to press charges, but she was mightily afraid of something). |

It seems there is a connection between the woman who was assaulted and Michael Schrunk, Kim Anderson, sleazy Thomas Huffman, Roger Weidner, and the Victor Oekerman clan. Do any or all of the aforementioned people have a motive for the assault to be covered up? It seems all of the above mentioned people have a connection to the disappearance of my son and my assets while I was away on active duty from 1980 to 1984. It also seems there is a connection between Cathy Winters and one or two of the aforementioned people. According to forensics experts whoever coerced the woman who was assaulted into becoming a snitch probably had something to do either with the actual assault or the attempt to cover up the assault. Is there also a connection between the aforementioned people and the breakin of my various residences over the years? I don't know yet. At the moment there are more people hindering my search for answers than there are helping me. Actually, nobody is helping. You'd think the fine upstanding, white Christian supremacists might be interested in helping find out who assaulted her, or at least some of the more responsible citizens of Washington County would want to help. You'd even think some of my relatives would want to help because they actually have some of the answers. But, so far, all I get is hindrances and no help. And I'm not getting any help in my search for a son that mysteriously disappeared years ago. In fact, I'm getting lots of hindrances in that effort, also. Somebody, probably somebody in the Multnomah County DA's office, is intent on slandering the woman who was assaulted. Many years ago, when I first started trying to get information about the assault, some of my fellow employees-at-the-time at the downtown Portland, Oregon Main Post Office told me that if the woman who was assaulted ever decided to cooperate with the cops, whoever knew about it and helped cover it up would make her look like she was crazy. Some of these fellow employees were also asked to become snitches in order to spy on me. Most of them said no. None of the participants of the various crimes that occurred as a result of this party have ever been charged. Could it be because they are fine upstanding citizens? Sometime in the summer of 1987 in Beaverton, Oregon there was a party. One of the women was brutally assaulted sometime during the party. When the assault occurred almost everybody at the party was in an advanced state of inebriation. The assault probably occurred between 9 PM and midnight. After the assault occurred the victim was thrown into a large, dark colored sedan. Two men and one woman got in with her. Everybody was way past the legal limit for alcohol consumption for driving. This vehicle managed to make it all the way to a parking lot of an apartment complex on Barbur Boulevard in Portland, Oregon. The apartment complex was right across the street from The Old Barn Restaurant and Lounge. When the vehicle finally made it to the parking lot it drove wildly into the parking lot and threw the victim out of the car onto the parking lot and then drove wildly back out into traffic. The occupants of the car then drove away. A call to the Portland Police was made and an officer from the Portland Police responded. The victim was wearing a red dress with red hosiery. The dress and hosiery were torn and dirty. The victim had abrasions and cuts. The victim refused to give the officer any information. The victim was scared and crying but would not give out any information. The officer could do nothing except make a report. So I'm going to make a few observations and ask some questions. I'm not a lawyer or a cop but just from perusing some federal and state statutes it would seem like kidnapping and assaults took place in two different Oregon counties and in two different cities. A vehicle was used in the commission of these crimes. It seems like law enforcement agencies in various jurisdictions would have a responsibility to investigate some of these major crimes. Some fine upstanding citizens know about these crimes and have kept quiet all these years. I'll name a few. Of course, the people at the party know about the crimes. Larry Perez, former head of the American Postal Workers Union in Portland, Oregon probably knew about these crimes. Loren Hoover knows about the crimes and has said nothing. Could their silence be because the victim held perceived low status in society while the persons who committed the crimes are considered fine, upstanding citizens? Does this mean it is ok for fine, upstanding citizens in society to commit crimes against those with perceived low status in society? Is the silence because one of the chief perpetrators of these crimes may be a slimeball by the name of Kim Anderson? Was there a conspiracy of silence among the participants in these crimes? Were there threats made to various witnesses that if they talked they would be sorry? If there was a conspiracy would that mean the statute of limitations for these crimes has not run out? I've tried to find out the names of some of the people at the party and the people who know about the assault, but have been unsuccessful because of a conspiracy of silence. Maybe the following true story has some bearing on the assault. A couple of weeks after I arrived in Rota, Spain in 1984 I was taken by car to a place where I was beaten and stabbed in an assault by about four or five people. I was put on light duty while recovering from my wounds. While convalescing I came across evidence that a LCDR Bill Brown had been violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) in extreme ways. Since part of my previous duties in the Navy had been as an assistant Legal Officer, I had been trained to go out and investigate violations of the UCMJ and then write up the various charges on a charge sheet and then submit them to a convening authority for action. I gathered as much evidence as I could and then took the evidence to the base JAG officer. Much to my surprise he became extremely agitated when I presented him with the evidence against LCDR Bill Brown. Then this JAG officer ordered me to destroy the evidence. I refused and since this was not the usual behavior of the JAG officers I had come into contact with I decided to investigate this JAG officer. Here is what I found out. This JAG officer was buddies with LCDR Bill Brown. There was a small clique of officers on the Rota, Spain naval base that had become involved with certain female enlisted members. These officers had also received gifts from some female enlisted members that totalled in the thousands of dollars. This was confirmed by credit card receipts that were given to me. This was part of the evidence I submitted to the base JAG officer. As is my custom, once the JAG officer ordered me to destroy evidence that could have destroyed his buddy's career (and his) I immediately went to the Command Master Chief and and showed him the evidence and asked his opinion. Then I showed the evidence to everybody I came into contact with on the base and asked for their opinion. Then I showed the evidence to the Spanish Security agents who were responsible for security on their side of the base and asked for their opinion. Until this day I love their response, "We don't get involved in the corruption on the American side." This is a question that sometimes I ponder over: After I gave the crooked Navy JAG officer the evidence, he could have destroyed it himself. Why did he give the evidence back to me and order me to destroy it? Even though I refused to destroy the evidence I submitted to the base JAG officer, the evidence eventually disappeared. Could it be magic? My own personal opinion, although I can't prove it at the moment, is that somebody stole the evidence and then destroyed it. Anyway, nothing was ever done about the situation on the Rota, Spain naval base. For all I know, it is still a place where sleazy officers can utilize their positions to intimidate and coerce female enlisted members to engage in certain actions that are violations of the UCMJ. |
