Ignore these feeble folk
when you find a bug in software
let the author know before you've spoke
that free software is there
so beware, show the author(s) you care
and let not your tongue be unaware
that others might not mind
using the bug that you might find
to rule the world and a computer
so let's not help a sleazy looter.
Well, so much for really stupid poetry. One of the greatest pet peeves of those who write open source programs, which I really like to use, is clever morons finding bugs in the software and then announcing it to the world first, instead of to the author(s).
