Well, they've found me out. A rational person who never heard of Pat Robertson might well read his New World Order (Word Books, 1994) and think it must be a joke. Could anyone actually believe his rambling paranoia regarding Jewish bankers, Freemasons, Muslims, homosexuals, foreigners, etc.? Apparently so. Still, one wonders why PCTs exist and their numbers seem to be growing.
For example, many PCTs consider the Great Seal of the United States and the motto Novus Ordo Seculorum to be Masonic and to mean New World Order. These "facts" are considered evidence in the argument to prove the vast conspiracy of the Illuminati. It is useless to argue against these "facts" with PCTs. They consider us dupes who would note that the Latin is usually translated as New World of the Ages and that the symbol of the eye in the pyramid relates to a poem in the Egyptian Book of the Dead.* Even granting that the Great Seal of the United States and the symbols on our dollar bill are Masonic (which they are not) and that novus ordo seculorum means New World Order (which it does not), nothing significant follows, certainly not that there is a vast conspiracy to take over the world.
Providence and eschatology
I think it is likely that many PCTs in the West are initiated into their peculiar way of thinking by their religious training, in particular by their study of the Bible. They have been taught or they assume that everything happens for a purpose and that God ultimately has a reason for every event occurring just as it does. As it becomes more and more difficult to see this world as designed for anything, the theories get more and more preposterous to keep the teleological delusion alive. The war on evolution and homosexuality--encouraging the abandonment of science and stimulating murderous assaults--so obviously disproportionate by any rational standard, is difficult to explain without seeing the militant fundamentalists as beyond the last stages of desperation. The intense campaigns to expose possible alien abductions, UFOs, and mind-control is likewise preposterously disproportionate to any rational standard.
It is still amazing to me that the cult could actually convince my relatives, a crazy cop, and a couple of Navy JAG officers that I'm a member of all the conpiracies put forth by the Paranoid Conspiracy Theorists (PCTs). I wonder how they got Dr. Ron Turco to believe all their crap about me being involved in all these conspiracies.
Maybe Dr. Ron Turco is just super-duper gullible.

WATCHDOG SENT TO PSYCHIATRIC WARD
Salem (AP) - A former chief prosecutor in Portland who claims he
found widespread corruption in Oregon's legal establishment now finds
himself locked up in a Salem psychaiatric ward.
Roger Weidner, 57, has been in the Oregon State Hospital's forensic
program for the criminally insane since a Multnomah County judge
ordered him to undergo psychiatric evaluation in August.
His supporters say he's a tenacious whistle-blower who's paying a
steep price for his efforts to expose wrongdoing. Others say he
simply may be delusional.
"I'm a political prisoner in this place," he declared during an
interview with the Statesman Journal newspaper.
District Judge Dorothy Baker, who ordered Weidner to the state
hospital, could not be located for comment Monday.
At least one psychiatrist has told Weidner that he is dilusional. In
psychiatric terms, that means Weidner holds firm beliefs in spite of
strong evidence indicating they ARE FALSE.
Weidner scoffed at the diagnosis: I'm a far cry from being
delusional. I have no belief or opinion that is not based on fact."

Techniques and Tactics
Bring crowds into the courtroom, the bigger the better.
Prep the crowd out in the corridor both to intimidate the guards and to focus the crowd's attention. Tell your supporters that when the judge tries to shut you down they should all say together, "Let him speak! Let him speak!" Remind everyone to pay attention in the courtroom. When they pay attention the guards back off. When they are distracted the guards move in.
Speak to the guards and police officers standing around. "You guards know what's going on. These judges, attorneys and state agents are kidnapping these children, rigging elections." whatever your case is about.
Do not stand up for the judge if you know he is corrupt. Remain seated when he enters if you want to show that you know he is corrupt. Or, remain standing until he enters if you want to avoid making a show of respect.
Bring binoculars, opera glasses or telescopes into the courtroom to aim at the officers of the court for closer scrutiny, if possible. It intimidates them.
Stand up together as a group when the guards enter in a threatening manner. If the guards are threatening get their names.
At least we have some idea of why all the people that were supposed to act responsibly, especially my relatives, concerning my property, assets and son while I was away on active duty from 1980 to 1984 let everything go all to hell. I didn't expect much from the Victor Oekerman clan because I knew they were somewhat nuts (two months after I met Faye Marie Oekerman I knew the Oekermans were nuts). During the divorce I realized Roger Weidner was nuts, but I never figured my relatives, John McClelland Hays, Neta Hays, Chris Andrea Hays and a few other relatives would join the cult and become crazy.
