We seem to be having an epidemic or, as some experts have said, a pandemic that seems to involve those little, itty bitty flu viruses. So, for all who are interested in information about those viruses, check out DB's Medical Rants: Influenza - when to seek care .
I have a homemade remedy I always take whenever I get the flu. The ingredients and directions on how to mix it follow my legal caveat.
The flu stopper is only for adults and, remember, I'm not a doctor and the following is only recommended for me. The following is only for entertainment purposes.
Take four large glasses. Fill up one of the glasses a quarter of the way with scotch. Put in another quarter glass of vodka. Add enough tobasco sauce so the glass is two-thirds full. Then add some ground up garlic, jalapeno peppers, hot red peppers, and if you're on an Indian reservation and you're doing some sort of religious ritual, add some peyote. Add five table spoons of Spanish or Italian red wine.Take two glasses and fill them up following the above directions.
Fill up the fourth glass with Spanish or Italian red wine.
Then drink up while watching a Marx Brothers movie.
On an unrelated note let's check up on Kaiser Permanente's revolutionary test to determine if a person is a homosexual or not.
Some years back when I went to a Kaiser Permanente hospital in Portland, Oregon, for an injury I was also secretly given a medical exam to see if I was a homosexual. (I'm not.) The test was secretly arranged by a moron, Kim Andersen, with the illegal and unethical help of a Kaiser Permanente doctor.
I haven't heard lately about whether or not Kaiser Permanente's doctors are still doing this brilliant, revolutionary test or even whether or not this brilliant, revolutionary medical exam has been patented.
Then again, maybe a course in ethics would help or maybe psychological testing for physicians might help.
NOTE: I've got better things to do than erase the childish, immature, psychotic, obscene comments from looney Roger Weidner and his gang of illiterate morons, so just put your opinions at the Johnhays.net Forum.
