Questions about sleazy behavior and theology

Ever since my sister, Chris Andrea Hays, became of member of a psycho, homophobic, white supremacist cult about twenty years ago, she has become a liar, a false accuser, a manipulator and a thief. She has lied to her children, her relatives, her friends, members of her church, and her neighbors. She has lied to cops and assistant district attorneys. She has come up with false stories, including a false story that one of her kids, Alex Hoover, was kidnapped by Mexicans in Hillsboro, Oregon, beat up, and dropped off in Shute Park in Hillsboro, Oregon.

She has helped my crazy ex-wife (the one I divorced in 1980) and my ex-wife's psycho family break into various residences I have had over the last twenty years.

Since my sister has joined the cult, she has made a big deal about being a fine, upstanding, White Christian and going to her Church of Christ every Sunday and on other days when the church decides to be in session.

Since my sister joined the cult, she has become convinced almost everybody on her block is engaging in Satanic Ritual Abuse and so my sister has been secretly spying on her neighbors for years.

This brings up some questions for the hour:

1. Is her behavior a sign of mental illness? More than a few of the members of the cult have been ordered into psychiatric institutions by a few judges in Oregon and Washington state.

2. If it is so easy for members of a Church of Christ in Washington County, Oregon to be led astray down the path of delusions, mendaciousness, hate and false accusations, does this mean the teachings of a certain Church of Christ in Washington County do not make much of an impact on the lives of the various members of the church?

3. Is going to the church just for show or does it really add meaning to the lives of the people who go to the church?
