Today I'm voting by mail

Today I received my mail ballot. Since I'm registered as an independent I don't get to vote in the primaries, so I won't say anything about the candidates for the various parties, except for one. Don't vote for Pavel Goberman for Republican senator. He is too closely aligned with Roger Weidner's anti-government "sovereign" citizen gang.

Also, don't vote for James E. Leuenberger for the Oregon Supreme Court because he, also, is too closely aligned with Roger Weidner's looney anti-government gang. Besides, anybody who wears their religion like he does and isn't clergy is probably not to be trusted. Also, his brand of hatefilled Christianity is a perversion of the real Christianity. If you don't believe me, then click here.

I voted for Rives Kistler for Oregon Supreme Court.

William Riggs and Rudy M. Murgo are two excellent candidates. However, the following describes William Riggs in the voters pamphlet:

A Tough, No-Nonsense Approach to Crime

Judge Riggs sentenced hundreds of criminals to hard time.
Judge Riggs understands the impact of crime on our communities.
Judge Riggs was a Director of the Oregon Judicial
Foundation for Criminal Justice, an organization that educates
judges, attorneys and citizens on the impact of crime on adult
and child victims.

Whenever I hear somebody use the above mindless platitude, then I figure it's time for a change. I voted for Rudy M. Murgo.

Phil Brockett and Robert Wollheim are both excellent candidates. This time, though, I think I'll stick with Robert Wollheim.

The other judicial positions only have one candidate so there's no choices to make there.

A Sheriff's job is to protect me and others from those crazy white supremacists, not ignore me and pretend Washington County doesn't have a problem with homegrown terrorists.

I like Dick Schouten but, let's face it, the Washington County Commission is one of the worst in the country. Maybe we need Eileen Qutub to shake things up a little. I voted for Eileen Qutub.

And that's it from looney, homophobic racist, Washington County, Oregon.

The paranoid Plaid Pantry

There is a Plaid Pantry a couple of blocks from where I live. I call it the "paranoid Plaid". If you want to buy some beer there you have to show your ID, even if you're ninety years old. I've heard they got popped for selling to minors and so now everyone has to show ID in order to buy beer. I think their policy is overkill.

Whenever I walk in there the workers become apprehensive so I assume Roger Weidner and his cult went around to a bunch of businesses around here and told them all sorts of slanderous things about me. Of course, Roger and his cult tell the local businesses slanderous things about judges, cops and social workers.

A letter from Moses Seixas to President G. Washington and the reply

The following is a letter from Moses Seixas
to President George Washington and George Washington's reply. Special thanks to Tourosynagogue.org.

Letter from Moses Seixas to President George Washington.

To the President of the United States of America.

Sir:

Permit the children of the stock of Abraham to approach you with the most cordial affection and esteem for your person and merits ~~ and to join with our fellow citizens in welcoming you to NewPort.

With pleasure we reflect on those days ~~ those days of difficulty, and danger, when the God of Israel, who delivered David from the peril of the sword, ~~ shielded Your head in the day of battle: ~~ and we rejoice to think, that the same Spirit, who rested in the Bosom of the greatly beloved Daniel enabling him to preside over the Provinces of the Babylonish Empire, rests and ever will rest, upon you, enabling you to discharge the arduous duties of Chief Magistrate in these States.

Deprived as we heretofore have been of the invaluable rights of free Citizens, we now with a deep sense of gratitude to the Almighty disposer of all events behold a Government, erected by the Majesty of the People ~~ a Government, which to bigotry gives no sanction, to persecution no assistance ~~ but generously affording to all Liberty of conscience, and immunities of Citizenship: ~~

deeming every one, of whatever Nation, tongue, or language equal parts of the great governmental Machine: ~~ This so ample and extensive Federal Union whose basis is Philanthropy, Mutual confidence and Public Virtue, we cannot but acknowledge to be the work of the Great God, who ruleth in the Armies of Heaven, and among the Inhabitants of the Earth, doing whatever seemeth him good.

For all these Blessings of civil and religious liberty which we enjoy under an equal benign administration, we desire to send up our thanks to the Ancient of Days, the great preserver of Men ~~beseeching him, that the Angel who conducted our forefathers through the wilderness into the promised Land, may graciously conduct you through all the difficulties and dangers of this mortal life: ~~ And, when, like Joshua full of days and full of honour, you are gathered to your Fathers, may you be admitted into the Heavenly Paradise to partake of the water of life, and the tree of immortality.

Done and Signed by order of the Hebrew Congregation in NewPort, Rhode Island August 17th 1790.
Moses Seixas, Warden

The following is George Washington's reply.

To the Hebrew Congregation in Newport Rhode Island.

Gentleman.

While I receive, with much satisfaction, your Address replete with expressions of affection and esteem; I rejoice in the opportunity of assuring you, that I shall always retain a grateful remembrance of the cordial welcome I experienced in my visit to Newport, from all classes of Citizens.

The reflection on the days of difficulty and danger which are past is rendered the more sweet, from a consciousness that they are succeeded by days of uncommon prosperity and security. If we have wisdom to make the best use of the advantages with which we are now favored, we cannot fail, under the just administration of a good Government, to become a great and happy people.

The Citizens of the United States of America have a right to applaud themselves for having given to mankind examples of an enlarged and liberal policy: a policy worthy of imitation. All possess alike liberty of conscience and immunities of citizenship. It is now no more that toleration is spoken of, as if it was by the indulgence of one class of people, that another enjoyed the exercise of their inherent natural rights. For happily the

Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.

It would be inconsistent with the frankness of my character not to avow that I am pleased with your favorable opinion of my Administration, and fervent wishes for my felicity. May the children of the Stock of Abraham, who dwell in this land, continue to merit and enjoy the good will of the other Inhabitants; while every one shall sit in safety under his own vine and figtree, and there shall be none to make him afraid. May the father of all mercies scatter light and not darkness in our paths, and make us all in our several vocations useful here, and in his own due time and way everlastingly happy.

G. Washington

While I'm on the subject, I might as well do a little bitching. It is beyond me why my sister, Chris Andrea Hays, wants to be in a stupid, anti-government cult whose members hate veterans, Jews, Blacks, Mexicans and almost everybody else in the world.

It is beyond me why she has raised her kids to believe the stupid beliefs of the cult.

I'm also pissed off because the cult wants my two daughters to be raised believing the nonsense the cult believes.

I wonder how low my sister will go in order to obey Roger Weidner's orders. Everytime I think she can't go lower she ends up surprising me and doing something even more despicable and immoral.

Looney psychiatrist Dr. Ron Turco is upset

Looney psychiatrist Dr. Ron Turco of Washington County, Oregon is upset because I'm publicizing how a local anti-government, "sovereign citizen" gang had him jumping through hoops.

I look at it this way. Dr. Ron Turco likes to tell everybody he's a professional, he likes to be treated as a professional, he wants his ass kissed because he's a professional. If he wants all this then he should act like a professional.

This means (1) he shouldn't let a bunch of psycho anti-government zealots tell him what his diagnosis should be and (2) he shouldn't give out anybody's medical info to every Tom, Dick, and Harry who asks for it. There is such a thing as confidentiality between a doctor and a patient or a test subject.

And number three: He shouldn't tell people what the results of a test are before he actually gives the test.

Like I say, if he wants to be treated like a professional, he should act like a professional.
